2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rubber floor mat

Hey all,



I would like to replace my carpet with a rubber floormat . I got a price from mopar:--) :--) !!!! Is there a cheaper after market source?

rubber/vinyl floor mat

I replaced the carpet in my '89 with a heavy duty vinyl type floormat from Whitneys that covered the whole floor (reg. cab)from firewall to back wall of cab.

The old carpet was damp as well as the insulating mat and it's just a pain to keep clean versus the vinyl. I wiped down the bare floorpan twice and vacuumed it before putting down the insulating mat. The Whitneys mat was not a perfect fit, but with some minor trimming it came out pretty good. I believe the cost was around $150.

I have the mopar ones and they are expensive But i love them and i think the cost was worth it. But there is a an other good one out there and i think it is called husky liner, i'm not sure how much they cost but they look pretty decent.

no im talking about replacing all the carpet with one big rubber or vinyl mat

You really should bite the bullet & spring for the OEM rubber mat, I don't think the aftermarket stuff is gonna fit or look nearly as good.



I ordered my truck with the carpet delete option ( you know how living on a farm & carpet mix ) and I'm glad I did, the 2nd week I had my truck my daughter got car-sick & puked all over the rear floor :{ I'm sooo glad it's rubber!!

When I ordered my 04 SLT I asked about carpet delete and was told it was no longer offered. I guess I'll just suffer with the hassle of having to cleaning carpets.

I bought from them a few years ago and got a black molded carpet for my 68 Barracuda Fastback,Yes the fit was great and I was very happy with the product. It's got my vote!

i have the husky liner in the front and back. very nice. easy to pull out and spray off when needed... . fit is perfect... ... .....

I think you had to ask for the vinyl floor, It was on my "it has to have" list.

Hey guys;

Instead of rubber floor mats - why not try with a lot of the 4X4 off roaders do and have a spray in liner put down instead of rubber floor mats. Its tough,, doesn't let water get to the metal, and it deadens sounds too. . my $. 02
