When i bought my truck i had carpet in it... this being the first vehicle i have ever had with carpet i didn't realize the hassle involved... .

where can i find a rubber mat to replace the entire carpet in my truck, or would it be easier and cheaper just to buy something to go over the top of it?

Try Geno's Garage web store. They carry a wide assortment of after market parts for Dodge RAM trucks.

I'm using the Husky floor liners, front and rear. Purchased at Cabelas and work great (and I know, I have two kids). These really minimize the amount of dirt that gets on the carpet and also have an edge to keep the water from all that melted snow on the mat and not in your carpet. Follow the link...

The "slush mats" from Dodge fit perfectly, catch everything, and are very very sturdy. They also have the Rams head molded into them. I think maybe $80 for the front two mats? Check them out. I was not disappointed. My . 02 cents

I thought rubber floors were the best for a long time too and I thought of removing the carpet in this truck and having the floor Rhino-coated. That was until I found these www.foxweatherboots.com

So far they have been great and are holding up very well. The are a little spendy, but I think they are worth every penny. My muddy boots never damage the carpet. The Fox "boots" channel all the melted snow back out the door (not leaveing it in a puddle to slosh around) and even protect the hump in the truck where I rest my boot while driving.

All I do to clean them is take 'em out and spray 'em off and their good as new.

The ONLY thing I have bad to say about them is they are only available in black.

Maybe if we get enough interest we can work on a g/p? Email me and let me know.

NOTE: I don't work for this company or anything I just think they are an excellent product and the best alternative to the rubber floor I've ever seen.

I'll have to second that on the fox weather boots. These are more of a custom fit carpeted plastic tray than a floor mat. The best thing is that anything that is spilled onto the floor is funneled right out the door!

If you have a 6-speed be sure and tell them as they will do a little custom trimming so that they fit perfectly against the center console.
