What's the best way to keep the cowing seal on? Everytime I open the hood it is off. No way I'm taking it back to the Stealer for such a small issue.

If that doesn't work

If crimping the seal doesn't do the job, use some trim adhesive to glue it on about every foot or so.

Then use some talcum powder or silicone spray on the seal AFTER you glue it on, this will keep the seal from sticking to the hood, which pulls it off the cowl everytime you lift the hood.

I had to glue mine on, but once glued, it never came off unless I pulled it off by hand.

Hope this helps. Greg L

Use silicon adhesive, a dad at several points along the rubber should do the trick. It worked well on mine.

Like Thomas said, remove the seal completely and use a pliers to squeez the little metal clips in it back tight. This will work!

I cleaned it off where the seal goes and put about a foot long bead of silicone on each end and stabbed her back on there, hasn't come back off since :)

I took mine off, squeezed it all along the edge with pliers, put it back on, then took some 3/4 inch thick self-stick foam insulation and put that at the ends where the weatherstripping ended. This stopped the smells that were coming inside from under the hood.
