Rubbing sound in steering column

Welcome to the TDR, you may be the first one from the beautiful Owens Valley. One of my trucks, I'm not even sure which one because the sound is so minor, makes a rubbing noise that sounds like plastic to plastic when you turn the wheels fully. You can only hear it when you are stopped the sound is so minor, I always figured it was the bottom of the steering wheel rubbing on the column cover.

1998. 5 2500 4x4 W/36000 miles. Getting a rubbing sound when turning the steering wheel. Power steering fluid is full and looks and smells ok. Any ideas before I but heads with dealer service?

I think it's the horn contacts. My '96 did it and was replaced (in '97) under warranty.
