Hi, has anyone installed one of these on there 3rd gen. I checked with mopar and they sell it, its a bit pricey but less than the SR10 hood.

any pictures?

PM member Slinse he put one on his 04 and it looks sweet! Think I may have to get one too. I know he installed it himself, said it was only six holes to drill. He said you get that get the "not so good" feeling as you are drilling holes in your hood, but it looks like it came from the factory like that. Don't know if he has any photos in his gallery or not though.

On Edit: Found a pic, hope you don't mind SLinse :D :D

Thanks for posting the picture, I think I may have to get one of these. But I too hate that feeling of holding the drill and looking at the hood thinking about once its started no turning back!!

Here's a few pics of mine on an '03 RAM 2500 Sport in Bright White :

I purchased mine (primered version) for around $318 including tax. If you're lucky enough to own a black, flame red, solar yellow, or bright silver metallic, you can get yours pre-painted for a little more money. I had around $399 installed for mine.

I have thought of one of those, but I keep thinking the SRT hood I like better, but it IS two hundy more, and the Rumble bee hood scoop is cool too... ... . Choices, choices... .

Great pictures, truck looks fantastic. My Ram is black so I can get it prepainted and I think I will cough up the cash and do it... ... . fathers day coming, can we buy our selves a present?

I choose the go with the SRT-10 hood for a couple of reasons, it is functional, didn't have to drill factory hood, ordered mine when I ordered truck and dealer sold it at cost as part of the truck deal. And plus a good friend of my runs a body shop and already sold the hood to a guy that hit a deer!!!

Brockman, just wanted to say that your truck looks good, I like the smoked lights and windows.

Don't get me wrong I like the SRT 10 hood it looks great, I just think the Rumble Bee looks great as well and the price is considerably less. I have no intention to make my hood scoop functional, I just like the looks. :)
