Cummins owns Ford and they are forcing them to offer the engine :-{} :D :-laf :-laf

well I figured as much, I guess my friend secretly can't let go of the Ford/Cummins deal from a few years ago, because I heard nothing of this, all I heard was they were going to offer the 6. 4 twin turbo and then a inline 6 from Navistar, not Cummins.

Yep, it's true. If you order a new '07 Ford with the 6. 4l TT they'll give you a CTD to replace it with when it falls apart.

ford owns china... get it right

Since Ford owns Cummins, the 6. 4 and the Cummins engines are very closely related. Just like the 6. 0 and the ISB are closely related. The two companies are essentially the same entities, therefore, the engines are the same except for configuration. Really, the way the ISB was developed, was by basically cutting the 6. 0 in half longways and then adding two of the chopped off cylinders to the rear of the other four. Or it might have been to add the two chopped off cylinders to the front. I can't remember which it was. My salesman explained it to me when I bought my truck. He was spewing so much technical information that I kind of got lost. I was in awe. He also said that Ford owns Daimler-Chrysler and that they were leasing the names to themselves for licensing/merchandising purposes. Pretty cool huh?

I may not have some of the facts correct. If I've made some mistakes, I apologize. :D

Well I heard Ford and Dodge were merging, and were going to call the new product Fudge. I'm not sure but the motor may be coming from GM, since they are well known for reliable diesel engines. I can't wait personally!

I heard that Ford and Dodge would be merging in 2007 also. The "WORD" here is,according to Major Ray Nagin, that a new truck assembly plant is to be built in New Orleans, or "The New Chocolate City" for the assembly of the new Fudge Heavy Duty Trucks.

I heard that ford bought Kabota and that they were going to start putting twin 3 cylinder diesels (in series) In there super duty F350

Well I knew it was BS but just wanted to get everyones take on it, would love to see them put the IH-I6 in their trucks, then we would have nothing but fuel for the fire on the in your face on the failing V-8 diesel theory, oh yeah the V-8 diesel theory is in case the Ferd guys haven't heard " IT SUCKS" LOL

I thought Ford already owned Cummings. Are they going to sell the Cummings, Cummins, Navistar and Kubota? Wait till I tell my brother in law. He'll buy one. :-laf

I know everyone is making fun of your rumor, but actually it is true. In fact at the present time you can get the Ford with the 6. 0 (International) or the 5. 9 (Cummins) or the 7. 2 (Cat)...

Just order the F-650 or F-750, check it out:

Shame,Shame Alan

I keep looking for a truck with one of them Cummings in it. I just can't find one.

Now my brother in law has put a CAT tag on the front of his 6 puker. You can wash a pig, dress it up and it's still a pig. Even with a CAT tag on it.

Well Ford Without A Doubt Makes A Tougher Better Truck Than Dodge But The Cummins Is A Little Better, when They Haven't Sucked A Valve.
