Well Ford Without A Doubt Makes A Tougher Better Truck Than Dodge But The Cummins Is A Little Better, when They Haven't Sucked A Valve.

It proved that some people are stupid enough to stand under anything.

That Ford knows how to make a strong bolt... maybe they should have the "bolt" engineers fix the motor... ;)

I'm not sure what metric size and property class that bed bolt is but a simple 1/2 inch grade 8 bolt can have a tensile strength somewhat north of 100K pounds. Funny how they make such a big deal about holding a 6 or 7K pound truck. If only they could be as proud of the 6"oh".

What about the F150 lifting the semi? How much reduction was in the pulley system? :D

I've been wondering the same thing myself. Looks like about 3:1. With that kind of reducers, I should be able to easily lift a loaded rail car. I'll just need a couple of those Furd bolts and I'm all set.

This thread is hilarious!

I had a customer in Chicago who made those bolts, trust me, there is nothing special about them :-laf

Of course the Cummins has to work harder because it has less cylinders :p

The Ford guys could only hope.....

A friend of a friend keeps telling me the new motor int he Ford is going to be made by CAT. I just keep letting him think that and laughing. It's ok though, everyone but him knows he is a pathological liar.

Im sorry you all are misslead on these bolts, I have a friend who works for furd in the purchasing division. Those bolts come from the Wunwillhold bolt company, china
