Rumors on Rebates?

Guys - I ordered a truck in March, still not here yet. Spoke to the dealer today, it's still on the boat, so, realistically, we're into July sometime.



If I remember correctly (I was looking at trucks this time last year, but never pulled the trigger), the rebates were $3500 or $4500 at the very end of the model year.



Does anyone know if the rebates will go up? If I remember correctly, the $2500 rebate is good until the first week of July.

I'm in the same boat. I ordered the first week of March and still waiting. I ordered from Tommygun and had it shipped to Freehold Dodge. The ship made port on 6/17 and I called the dealer and he said about 10 days to offload and reach them.

As far as your rebate, call your dealer and make sure they give you a "sold order of protection" which means you get the deal (rebate) that was in effect when you ordered.

Hey, our trucks were on the same boat. My dealer is sayin' two weeks. We are going to have to have a Jersey TDR get together.

Bought my '03 on 9/17/03, and the rebate was $2500. . if that helps

My order was placed on 3/19 and I was originally told it would be 6-8 weeks.



The salesman said today that it was put on the ship on June 9, and it is about a 2 week trip. If that's true, it should be arriving in the next day or two.



He also said that it is at least 10 business days from the time it arrives in Newark until it reaches the dealership. He said that they're shipped in containers, need to be unloaded, unpacked, inspected, etc. Once all that happens, they then need to schedule with the delivery service for the trip to the dealership.

Ordered mine 2/04/04 and took delivery with the 2500. 00 rebate (less the 0% for 4 years) on 5/23/04 because it took so long. Not sure if they sold my original order for more than my deal first and then reordered another one at a later date as my truck build date was 3/4/04 and the motor reads 3/10/04 on it! Starting to wonder though as I am the guy with the fed emission truck and am a cali residence. See my post titled- 04. 5 fed emission truck... .....
