Yes, some pencil whipping going on, such as F-250 as high as 11,200 GVW, not exactly 3/4 ton territory...

As far as Reg Cab 4x2 models getting the highest payload/tow rating, that's all manufactures, so, apples and apples....

I like seeing 3/4tons above 10K GVWR since the 10K limit is silly and really hamstrings the actual capabilities of the truck. Now if we could get Class II and Class III limits increased we would really see the actual potential of these trucks.

Not apples to apples if you just look at the GCWR's, there is a special option/package on the reg cab F-450 that gives it a GCWR that isn't available on CC trucks. That's all I was saying.

A interesting topic not always easy for me to understand.I have been reading a lot of things on the internet comparing dullies to single rear wheel trucks etc. I could never use a dully. Never would fit in my garage etc. My srw 3500 2022 ho regular cab long box barely fits. But folks on the internet are saying I didn’t really need the ho to haul 3000 lbs which is true but I wanted the aisin transmission and for 3k more got the bigger engine as well. The smaller engine and transmission would be cheaper to buy run fuel mpg and maintain. That’s what have been told. I do have way more power than is really needed but it does the job very well . so a dully was out of the question for me imagine driving one in the winter here
