Frankly, that's one of my favorite things about my truck!! I won't get into the debate ever straight pipes on bikes. It's too subjective for my taste.

I don't think the law has a problem with straight piped trucks around here as there seem to be a lot of them running around.

The only complaint I have had from the law on my dual straight pipes was during an incident when I should have lost my license. I had just smoked a small block shivvy powered truck in a residential area, spinning the tires in 2nd and chirping them in 3rd, running about 50 in a 35. Somehow I got off with out a ticket. He said to live in his town I needed to tone down the exhaust. I lived there 2 more years with no incident.

I did learn to check the rear view mirror before racing off the stop lights. Yea, the cop was right behind me when I took off.

If you are out there reading this, thank you sir, for not taking away my driving privileges that night!

If you do not have fabrication skills, you should probably buy one of the above mufflers mentioned... or anyting that is build like an overgrown glass pack with a straight through core.

If you DO have fabrication skills, build your own using a larger outside tube. You can put in many or as few perforations in the core as YOU wish.
