Maybe we should move this to the politics forum. I too love my animals, hell I'll even eat a granola bar now and then. I also love hunting, fishing, and driving around in my big, loud, flashy, and possibly abnoxious truck. I happen to like that. I am sure many members of TDR will agree with me. Maybe y-not should move to Boulder, I'm sure they would welcome him with open arms. I'm not trying to start a fight, but I don't think he should accuse anyone of desperately needing attention. Y-not, I read your profile and I can see that you are proud of your truck. I too am proud of mine. If I get a ticket because my exhaust is too loud, that is my problem. If anyone else does'nt like it then thats too bad. If it's too loud YOU'RE TOO OLD!!

Ricers sound like really loud annoying gnats, but they have to... . if ya couldn't hear them, you might run them over by.....

accident.

Y- knot that is a mighty fine looking truck you have there. How about that after market bumper, looks nice, real stought, but if the saftey natzis get there way you'll have to go back to oem. That bumper may cause serious injury to some little old lady in her Honda Civic.

This might be some sort of inside joke for some of the locals but...

This is a pretty nice lookin rig, looks pretty mean to me but then again, I like lifts. Now for those who are familar with Boulder on a daily basis, isn't sort of funny thinking about the looks the owner of this sweet rig would receive cruisin up Pearl St, jammin out to Freebird lol

Hey Y-KNOT, loud pipes on bikes are a safety feature! I can't tell you how many times I have been nearly run over or run off the road on a bike with a muffler. Never happened once on a straight piped bike I've been riding!!! It's wierd, it's like if they can't hear you, you are invisible! Also, I don't know where you are getting your info, but in almost all cases a straight pipe will give you a performance gain over a factory exhaust! Current perfromance muffler technology can give you better figures than a straight pipe, but factory mufflers are nothing but choke boxes. Our trucks have one of the most ignorant mufflers I've ever seen from the factory.
