Hey has anyone seen a product that might serve as a step that I could swing down fron under my (eventually) p/u box? You may know what I mean if you have seen a Greyhound bus step. They virtually disappear under the bus when not needed.
I need to access things in my p/u bed from the sides and I haven't yet seen a running board that both looks good and/or would stick out far enough so that I could comfortably stand on it.
I am only 5'10" and these darn trucks keep getting taller (Chevy is the exception, Dodge is the worst).
Any comments/ideas would be helpful. I am also concerned about longevity of the body and don't want to compromise it's rust-resistance by putting too many holes in the sheet metal.
I saw a cattle-hauler with a 2000 f-350 dually today and he had the dealership lower the rear in his truck so that his trailer (I think it was a gooseneck-I don't know trailers) would sit level. Can I do this to a Ram 2500?
Thanks.
