Running Boards

I am looking for brite diamond aluminum running boards for my truck, what do you recommend?

I bought mine from JC Whitney. They are cheap but do fit. They are a universal typ mounting which is cut to length to fit the Dodge. If you have the $ look around for a better set that has bracketry to bolt to the Dodge specifically (if there is such a thing).



Be forewarned! This type will "age" in a couple years unless you keep them clean and that includes in the winters. They do look sharp when new though.



If you really have the $, go with a Putco stainless set. Kick A$$ looks and they will always clean up. I don't know the specifics of their mounting though.

I know you asked for diamond plate input... ... but if you do decide to make the stainless steel Putco Master Boss boards an option, email me. Another TDR member (name on home computer) sent me several personal photos of these boards mounted on his truck. Very nice of him and very helpful to me. I will be ordering mine quite soon. BTW, the Putcos mount to the frame and body, just in case you're interested. I originally was looking at diamond plate as well, but, after messages about the quick weathering of the diamond plate sent me looking elsewhere. Good luck in your search!!

They aren't diamond plate, but I love my Deezee guardian running boards. All aluminum with plastic trim and galvanized supports. . They were about $240 for the cab portion on mine. Great product.
