I just completed installing a set of J&J stainless steel Millenium running boards on the dually. The Millenium boards are made out of 3" ss pipe, so they are big and beefy.

They fit perfect and the install on the front portion of the running boards was very quick and painless. The dually portion of the running boards was more time consuming due to more bracketry.

The best part of the installation was that all of the brackets actually fit like it was supposed to, they obviously have done their research on proper fitting, no modifications were needed.

There is 6 running lights per side, 5 for the front board, 1 for the dually board.

All in all very impressed with their products and would highly recommend them.

Nanook, how much and who has them? I am assuming no drilling with the new frame. Do you have a pic you can post of the finished install?

Thanks

I had $1050 into the running boards, you can place an order direct with J&J or hit their website and find a dealer near you. I ordered these boards 2 weeks ago from a local dealer. He placed the order with J&J who makes the boards as needed, wow, 2 weeks later I have them.

No drilling into the frame, the brackets mount on the body pinch welds and inner body panels, these brackets are mounted with 4 self tap screws into the body panel and 2 bolts/nuts through the body pinch areas. The brackets conformed exactly to the inner body contours. The brackets for the dually board are hung off of the bed floor frame, basically a box channel that is supporting the truck bed. Again self tapping screws are used here.

Not one hole was drilled into the frame!!! A couple words of caution the dually boards have a lot of brackets for such a small length of board. The front boards had 4 brackets each and were very easy to install.
