I'm thinking of adding a product called "water wetter" by Redline to my radiator. It apparently reduces the surface tension of the water in your cooling system, making the heat transfer more effective. I've used this product for years in my gassers with noticable results especially when towing in hot weather.

But I'm wondering if this product is compatable with the factory installed "PINK" antifreeze in 3rd gen trucks like mine. It always was fine when I was running it in the other vehicles with prestone.

Your knowlegable thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks, M.

I ran it in my 04 and it seemed to work well. I havent put in my new truck yet and i notice a higher eng temp when towing grades w/out water wetter. Its hard to say for sure considering 04 vs 06 and edge juice vs bully dog.

I also ran the redline synthetic oil in my 04 and that was great ... im just at 23K miles in my 06 so ill be switching to red line next oil change.

I never noticed a difference when using this product, either in a diesel or a gasser. I prefer a product called RMI-25 myself, almost 200k on the '03 and the radiator is still as spotless as the day it was made!
