Running light Led's

Has anyone used led's for the running lights? I ordered some that were supposed to fit, but found they were to long.

Running LED lights will require resistors as the LED lights do not have enough resistance, they will cause the light out on the dash to stay on and also cause the turn signal to flash faster than a incandescent bulbs. The only lights that are not affected are the cab clearance lights.
