Went looking for the cause of ABS not working and found 40A underhood trailor fuse blown. Replaced and ABS light still on. Went to beach last night and turned running lights out. Got out and they were still on. Fooled around with switch and wouldn't go out. pulled trailor relay and they went out, so I assumed putting a good fuse in made a problem I already had show up. A few years ago I had no trailor lights and found no power to the tail light terminal at the plug on the truck. I traced it back till I had power and spliced in a new wire. Could this be related? I only know enough about wiring to get myself in trouble. The relay was very warm when I pulled it. Normal?

Thanks for any ideas.

Terry

Trailor lights worked fine all the way to SD and back this month.
