baton rouge port allen and denham springs have been ulsd for a while (id guess almost a year), only seen one pump with a 500ppm sticker on it in the last 6 months and am pretty sure it was pumping ulsd, it's fairly easy to tell atleast the fuel delivered around btr from looking at it, it's green and has very little foam if any, the filler on my flatbed is almost even with the top of the tank so foamy lsd takes a little bit to top up, but ulsd burps once or so and runs out on the ground if i try to push it

I drive all over the state of Texas and Louisiana and very seldom find ULSD. There is some around Houston, Corpus Christi, and in Louisiana in a few places, other than that, none.

EB,

Glad to hear your 6. 7 is running OK with LSD.

Thanks for sharing your experence with the 6. 7 and DPF.

Good real life experence info, keep it coming.

I've been holding off on ordering a 6. 7 because ULSD is not readly available on the routes I travel. Maybe I'll reconsider.

BTW, Flying J shows spotted ULSD availablilty in a numer of areas through out Texas, as you mentioned, as well as much of the Southeast.

It might seem unlikely, but if anyone comes up the New Jersey Turnpike, look carefully for fuel. All stations on the NJTP (Sunoco) only have LSD. I guess Jersey is one of those "2010" states.

Just a heads up to anyone coming through.

I haven't been far from home lately but I have yet to see any ulsd. Sure would be a pain to have to drive 200 miles to fill up! Typical government deal, mandate something but don't think about all the logistics! I think the epa has to keep coming up with more and more rules to justifly their existance. Seems like it about 20 years ago the top enviromental scientists were preaching a new ice age coming! Here in the plains, I am beginning to think that they were right!

I'm getting close to 19,000 miles and have run 11 tanks of ulsd, the rest were lsd. I've had no problems. I, like you, have no ulsd in my area, wish I did but I don't. When I find it, I fill up. According to all the Oil co. websites, they for the most part haven't made any lsd since June of 06. Probably most of the diesel is ulsd and they just haven't gotten their tanks certified. I make my living with my truck and when I need fuel I get it. Like I said, to this point, no problems.

Our work has been checking the LSD in the region and has found that most of it is below 100 ppm sulfur. As previously mentioned tanks have not been certified and or this is fuel that could not quite make it to ULSD.
