Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Running no delivery valves

Was just wondering if you took the delivery valves completly out what would happen? Don't plan on doing it, but just thought I would ask the experts.

I don't think it would run or it would run away and blow up! with out the delivery valves there is no fuel control.

It has been done. It will run, crappy, and it will not run away or blow up.

I don't think you'd keep fuel pressure in the lines. They are a one-way valve that keeps the fuel in the lines between injection events. I would guess running without them would give less fuel delivered with retarded timing.
