Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Running plateless and no difference

Hey guys, here's a question. I had my stock fuel plate that was grinded down (like a #6) in my truck. I took it out to see if I could get some more power but it is exacly the same. Is there a plate that will give more power?

I'm sure there is you need to check TST web page they should have listing for their plates as other who make them.

Joe D's 0 plate should have more horses you should be able to find a couple of threads on search modes.

Thats weird though that your not getting lots of fuel, smoke and high EGTs. Running the pump plateless should give you all of those symptoms plus the power that comes with it... ... anyone got a reason why that is not happening in this case?

not running a plate is the max fuel, unless this restricts it: the afc springs is too tight, afc washer in the front of rubber diaphram is hitting afc, cap in front of rack is only letting it go 18mm, which is usually enough, 21mm would be max, or you are just not getting the fuel, fuel filter is plugged, lift pump is going out, or fuel overflow valve spring is weak. Or maybe its too much fuel and not enough air, or exhaust housing is too restrictive.

i see your truck is a 95. Always put the 4K gov spring kit in 94-95 trucks w/ 160 or 175 pumps. 96 and above works nice with 3k. Call Piers and get the baby spring to make it a 4K kit. its cheap.

also remember if you have no boost or not enough, (boost leak) then you can't push the afc forward then you can't get any more fuel
