Rust issue's?

I was just wondering how the 3rd gen truck's are holding up against rust? My '01 has the normal rusty door's and knowing someday, I will be looking for a newer truck, it made me wonder if this was an issue with newer truck's, or do the door's still suck on these truck's? Just curious, thank's!

Drive shaft covered with rust and that's it. First 2 years were in Montana... no salt but they do use the liquid ice breaking spray... been under the truck for maintenance and inspection... no visible rust

My body is rust free (so far). Driveshaft and transmission case are rusty, but it's only surface rust.

I periodically squirt some black Rustoleum on the rust spots on the frame to keep them from spreading too fast.

On many occasions I have taken the time to remove the inner door panels and clean out the water drains there. So far, no rust in there that I can see. Last time I had them apart I coated them liberally with LPS No. 3.

When I wax the truck I wipe a thick film of wax on the rockers beneath the door and don't wipe it off.
