After getting a quote of $3900. to replace my rotted door's and fix my rear fender well, I've decided to go with the rhino or line-x repair! I will probably grind and clean up all rust before having it done, but I was wondering if anyone has done this with a silver truck and what it turned out like. Should I color match or go black/gray. I think I'll have to do the 3" around my wheel well's also, so I need pic's if you've got them. I want my truck to look good since I need to keep this one for a while. I appreciate the help!

liners

look into these guys. Cote-L Distribution Company I have used this on my last truck both black and grey was easy to do alot cheaper and I got to do it. they have pictures on their site that has vehicles done. if you end up using this product contact me and I can give you some tips prior when you put this on. by the way this is rolled on with a small 4" roller. sounds funny but it works well. my current truck has the rockers and rear bumper and inside of door aswell Im in the middle of posting some pic's this weekend.

good luck

Thank's for the info. I'm open to all option's of fixing my door's. Hopefully someone will post some of there color matched repair's!

I went to the closest line-x dealer today, and after inspecting the rust on my door's, he quoted $1400-$1700 in black. They don't do the color match at this dealer. That's going to the first 4" up and around fender's. Is this to much or reasonable! I have to clean, treat and prep the rust so they can apply there material. I was going to get a POR-15 rust kit to treat it. Should I go somewhere else. I dont mind doing the rust repair, because I know it'll get done that extra step, instead of a body shop hacking it halfway! What do you guy's think?

O. K. , I just did a search on rust repair's, and from some of the rhino/line-x prices that were mentioned, I would be getting screwed pretty bad! I still will fix the rust myself, but I'm going to find a few more dealer's,and find a cheaper quote! How can there be such a difference?#@$%!

POR-15 has a sterling silver top coat paint, too. I will be doing just what you are saying very soon and I too have a silver truck and dont want to 2 tone it.
