A Poem For Computer Users Over 40

I was washing my truck yesterday and noticed that one of my rims is starting to rust. I was wondering if there was anything that could remove the unsightly rust or atleast cover it up in some way.

thanks

cody

If they r the stock chrome rims just use some steel wool and then wax the rim will take care of it. had the same problem.

I've had good luck on my jeep with Naval Jelly. Then put a coat of wax on to keep it from coming back so quickly. I don't think you can ever get rid of it totally. A friend of mine suggests toothpaste, and scrub the rims with it. Dunno, never tried it.

If they're chrome get some FMF Gold Series pipe cleaner. About $7. It's for ATV/Dirt bike pipes. I use it on my exhaust tips when they get a little rust from rock chips. It's worked better than anything I've used before. Actually I have to get some more for my wheeler and my tips... . thanks for the reminder :) Just spray it on, let it sit a minute then wash with a rag and rinse it off. Then you could wax them for added protection if you wanted to.
