The new truck came in this morningOo. The salesman wants to know if I would be interested in the electronic rustproofing. I was somewhat interested as i plan on keeping this for a long time. Does anyone have any info on this It runs around $399 to get it. Also any input on the warranty plans availible. Iwas thinking of extending the bumper to bumper to 7/70. Any suggestions???

I've heard that something similar is used on pipelines to prevent rust.

Well i picked up the truck yesterday and opted not for the factory protection. Couldnt justify it without hearing enough pos feedback on TDR. I will check out your suggestions. thanks,

There is a website called www.eastwood.com, I believe that is the name. They have a gallon of rustenders paint at $99. I've heard nothing but great things about this product. I plan on using it myself. I hope this helps you.
