I just put a set in last night, the "300's" I don't know if they are any different than the 275's but I'm happy with them. I get mine from Scott Goff in Utah, -- email address removed -- is his email, give him a shout, I got mine for 295 shipped to my door, with no core charge. I ordered them tuesday and they showed up thursday morning, so I'm happy with that. The swap is pretty easy. I will say this though, I'm used to 12v. And made the mistake of pulling my injector lines all the way off, kind of a pain in the ***, but it gives you a little more room to work (I guess). Doing another set next week in a buddy's truck, I don't think it will take more than an hour and a half. So far I'm pretty happy. Definitely noticed a difference. The truck makes a little smoke now, with it set on stage 5.

I heard from TST that the 275 and 300 are the same thing. Some people call them 300 for a selling point. No difference!

I just installed a set of 275RV's yesterday. I am very pleased aswell.

I noticed also that some people call them 300's and I have no clue why.

It is my understanding that is will make a stock 215 or 235 hp pickup 275 hp hence the name 275's.

I have them in my truck for 50k miles along with a fueling box and my transmission has held up. I will admit that I have felt the transmission slip when pulling the trailer and I am sure the life of the transmission has been shortened. Also, I don't make a habit of racing around town and abusing the transmission.

The injectors should come ready to install, you may get some orings for the injector tubes in case they get damaged.

my trans didnt last long after i installed them. i wish i had gone bigger now though. i wish i had gone with dd3's. but anyway, the 275's are ok. they didnt make that big of a difference.

Sstockton, are your new injectors Bosch?

Yes, Mine are bosch. I don't know about fuel milage gains, but we'll see. I'm happy so far. no problems, no rough idle, I'm happy. I'll go bigger when I do twins. I think they'll be good for towing.

I just had 275's installed at Oregon Fuel Injection last week along with an AFE intake and 4" exhaust. They called the 275's a "Marine" injector. Probably the same as the "RV" application. What was immediately noticable was smoother idle and smoother acceleration over stock injectors with an Edge EZ. So far I am happy with them and look forward towing.

Injector upgrade domino effect

I need more time to figure out my fuel mileage change if any with 275's. I will know better after a trip to Indiana in mid-March. I have a 5-speed NV4500 and the stock clutch would not safely handle the increased HP combined with heavy towing over 8,000#. I went with a SBC Con-O clutch upgarde on mine to keep the stock clutch smoothness since the truck is my daily driver. All I know about the Auto Trans is they tend to become troublesome over time with the CTD and bombing just accelerates things, literally and figuratively! ;) The 275 injectors perform better with a performance box which leads to the necessity of intake/exhaust/gauge/trans upgrades etc. for everything to work together.

Get a Smarty to go with those 275's and you will not be sorry. The superchips and EZ's are old hat... . Smarty is the way to go.

Ok, what is a smarty? That is a new word for me. Do you think I need the new manifolds too? My auto has a 120,000 miles on it, shifts fine as a long as I don't beat on it. I don't tow much.

Smarty is the new ECM programmer made by Marco at Madselectronics. IT can change your stock ECM to what the catcher was, as well as many other things. I'm looking forward to trying one out in the next couple of months. Anyways, it seems to be the way to go. If I were you, I would install an exhaust and gauges on your truck as well. With my 275's and a Drag Comp, I can hit 1500*, that is running a 4inch and an intake as well. Right now, I'm part way through my first tank on these injectors. I haven't calculated anything out yet, but based on the gauge and the Trip, I seem to be doing a bit better. I should fill up by this weekend, in which case I'll repost with results.

Also, looking forward to towing with them. And I'm gonna turn my box off next tank, and see how it does with just the injectors.
