Denver to Pa. backhaul

I spend a week to 10 days every summer fly fishing on Rock Creek, about 20 miles east of Missoula. Since I bought my TT, my family and I have been staying at the Elk Horn Guest Ranch, about 5 miles up stream. New owners from California took over this year and have closed the park to camping and RVs. I'm looking for recommendations on a good RV park, or camp ground in the Missoula area. There are many forest service campgrounds farther up stream, but anyone familiar with Rock Creek road would understand why a trailer isn't a good idea. I would consider south in the Bitteroot Valley too.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

THe KOA at Missoula is actually a very nice one. I typically stay away from KOA's, but this one is one of the exceptional ones.

Thank you. I found that one on line. I think it is right in town. There is a Yogi Bears which caters to the kids. It is just off I-90 north of town. I'm sure my boys would have fun. Not sure about me though. Looks like a Wal Mart for RVers. Any other suggestions? There must be some Missoula area members out there.

Not a Missoula area member, but we did stay in Jellystone Yogi Bear park a couple of nights last year. An OK park, except you must watch where you park. The park sewer connection was higher than the outlet of our RV. You know what they say one of the first rule of plumbing is---s*** doesn't run uphill.
