Boat in a toy hauler?

Isolating truck batteries....

My wife and I have been offered jobs in Salt Lake City. Our problem is finding a place to live in our fiver with our 2 dogs. One place said short timers can have pets, but long term campers cannot. :confused: Another said we could have our dogs, but we would have to move to a new site every 30 days. :eek:

We live in a 38' triple slide, need 50 amp and full hookups. Prefferably within 30 minutes (for on-call purposes) of Pioneer Valley hospital in West Valley.

One place we looked at said we could keep our dogs, but it was so trashy and dumpy, it looked like a Jerry Springer reject trailer park. We wouldn't let our dogs live there.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Thanks... ... . Steve

Steve;

i don't know where you have looked, but there is a couple of places that cater to some long term living. Cherry hills, Kaysville (40 min from slc) has a couple lanes that are like full timers and construction workers, about $400. 00 a month in the summer, They are also doing some construction an a new exhibit, and are kind of torn up right now. Traffic coming and going in the AM/PM is a pain though. Wasatch trailer park in Draper, by camper world, one on west north temple, I believe its a good Sam. kind of run down, and has full time living there. closer to down town. Ardelle Brown in sandy has a camp ground behind his dealership on So. state st. .

Hope this is a little help on your quest. I am sure there is more but none come to mind at the moment.

Marv.

Thanks Marv. We will investigate the Wasatch in Draper. We had already talked to the others you mentioned, but had not found that one yet. Cherry Hill said no dogs in the long-term section, and Ardelle Brown Quail Run said no dogs at all.

Again, thanks for your input. I love the TDR... ... you can find out anything about anything here!!

Steve

PS---we would even be interested in renting a private lot from someone if they had the hookups and didn't mind well behaved, well cared for dogs.
