Fed Ex just delivered today. I've have put about 30, . 177 pellets through it, shooting at the sawed off ends of 2-3" diameter kindling pile @ 25'. Remarkably accurate right from the factory, it has quick adjust, single click thumb screws for both elevation and windage.
I have a 21 year old RWS model 34, something in the trigger mechanism broke last week, I need to disassemble it to see what needs to be replaced, Umarex assured me they could get any part I need. This new model is somewhat more powerful, 1250 fps vs 1000 fps, plus it has the engraved monte carlo stock with recoil pad, also 2" longer and a bit heavier @ 8. 5 lbs.
These are real nice, break barrel action airguns(available in both . 117/. 22), and a quiet alternative to a 22 rimfire, also no laws against using them in otherwise restricted areas. Can't wait for the marmots to come out in the sun this afternoon...
