S. Cleveland Dinner Meet? 1st week of March

I'm going to be in Cleveland next week. I thought it might be fun to get together for dinner somewhere and meet some of you folks if anyone is interested (and the weather cooperates)



Sorta thinking Medina area but no plans made as of yet. . .

Hey Vaughn, I'm a little east of Akron, not to far from Medina and any excuse to eat out is a good one. I'm retired so my schedule is pretty flexible!

Can NEVER depend on the weather here, but it shouldn't be too bad!:-laf

I am thinking either next Weds or Thurs night, maybe 6:30-7:00 so there's time to drive over. Would that work? How bad has the weather been?

Vaughn! Whats up buddy? long time no talk. Jim told me to check this thread out, and was surprised to see it was you coming out this way. I'm in mexico right now but should be back in time. . Medina is kind out there but doable. Maybe we can coordinate for the same night the cavs girls are going to be there at bw3 I think that may be a week later tho

Hey Lightman I'm coming to your neck of the woods Hope you can make it.

Let's make the meetup at Applebees on Rte 42 north of Medina, starting at 6:30 on Wednesday unless that doesn't give everyone time to get there. But that's the plan at the moment.

The address is 4115 Pearl Road, about 1/2 mi south of Fenn Road. Looks like if you come in on I-71 you go west on Rte 3 from Weymouth, right on Fenn then left on Pearl.

Looks like we'll have more than a couple showing up

Of course I find this post on Saturday. If you guys are ever up in Cleveland or down in Akron/Canton, get a hold of me, we can go to the Winking Lizard(my favorite bar/restaurant) and you guys can experience the World Tour of Beers.

I thought you guys had already met(duh). During the week isn't very good for me, especially to meet in Medina. I work till 6 and then I have to lift on Wednesdays. I will definitely try and catch you guys next time for sure.

One thing I was thinking about is how to find each other there . . . maybe I'll bring a TDR magazine to lay on the table.

I'll be there early and most likely will call ahead for a large group, tables etc. Ask for Scott Reynolds and they will know where to lead you.

Update,



I called and was informed they don't do reservations. So, I told her we would have 5 to 10 people and would like to set together. was informed that 10 heads would be doable and to call 1/2 hour ahead.



I will call ahead and get there a bit early. I'll have the tables grouped under the code name;
