What happened to the GLTDR ?

Mopar Nats

S. MI Dyno day (THIS WEEKEND 21,22)

Was thinking of having a dyno day!!

May 21 and 22. Plans are to have camping near the dyno or even in the back yard of the dyno.

I need interest so i can pursue this further. For anyone traveling far away i'm sure you could stay with some of the locals or bring a tent, whatever.

Will be at DynoServe

Jackson MI (our last event was held there)

(Will get address shortly)

Very nice owners/operators. You either turn your truck over to let them run

on the dyno or you listen to their instructions and you run your own truck.

What do you guys think?? Date is not set in stone so if you think another date is more appropriate then say so!!

Thanks

Curtis

Heading south off 127 it will turn down to 55mph, you will come to a off-shore marina/sales place, then there will be a road to your left that is HART Rd. (I think) take that till it "T"s and go LEFT again. It will be on your right hand side. You cant miss a bunch of Michiganders watching the rollers!

Ian you're on the ball bud, appreciate the help on the address, and especially the pic!!! Great help man.

I'm thinking i wouldn't mind some of the big boys from Indiana and Ill, and OH to make a run up here. I hate to make this dyno day a competition for most HP, just want more fun and GLTDR publicity!!!

I was thinking about putting in 2 dollars (or whatever you guys think is fair) from everyone that dyno's to help off-set the cost of #2 getting up here and back home, for the person with the most miles traveled to get here!! <---- REALLY NEED INPUT HERE!! PLZ. Would you guys be willing to do this ?

I am willing to furnish 2 grills for cookouts, bring hamburger, hotdogs. If you guys would like more than that by all means please bring a dish for everyone.

These guys aren't the fastest at strapping to and from the dyno, but they're the most thurough guys i've ever met trying to keep the customer happy!!! This is not a '3 pulls and get your arse off the dyno' type get-together, If you want a couple more runs you're more than welcome!!!

Lastly i hope this doesn't fall on a weekend for sledpulling. I would really like to see Digger, Silver03, LsFarm, and alot more high HP guys come out to play a little!!

Give me some ideas on how to make this weekend better for everyone!!!

Thanks

Curtis

great work curtis, count me in as well. maybe we will have some good runners down there this time to make the stroker look bad.

not a prob curtis!

Id like to see a large turnout!! Ill try and make a few phone calls for some Indiana fellers. Seeing Greg's rig, digger & silver 03 would be a real treat!!!!!!

Ive got 2 coolers to share, Ill smuggle some wood in (if the campfire is still ago) 1 grille,10 aluminum picnic tables (as many as needed)..... I cant think right now of what else might be needed)

Just a thought about the high mile winner (these are just ideas)

we could have one for the most smoke too? (Ahemmm Curtis  )

best in show- if alot of people come

Most NON-functioning parts on truck HAHAHA LOL (sorry matt but I couldnt hold back. Will the big BIG truck be done by then???)

Ill put down the $, and a free Howes Diesel Treat jug (full not empty haha :-laf)

about breakfast... . cook it or go somewhere? Jackson is 5 min away.

Cant wait!

this seems to be picking up speed rather quickly Oo. this could turn out to be a awsome time with the intrest that its got already. i am hoping that the big one will be done by then (at least running in 2wd) shouldnt be a problem. its gonna take a bit to fab in that t-case only doing it on sundays so i will probably leave it 2wd for a bit until that dyno day is over. see your all wrong on the missing parts thing, there not missing there keeping a low profile, so if sompthing goes wrong i have spares :D now i need to get some supermentals for that smoke award :-laf im tryin for memorial weekend to finish the big one for silver lake, thats my big spring trip, and it aint much fun in 2wd :( .

matt

i am hoping i have my fiver ready in time. it needs to be lifted about a foot to sit on my truck. if not im sure i can find one to use. i also hope to have a new torque converter in time for this. maybe an edge comp box also. thanks to Drew i have the bombing bug again. the wife probably wont be interested in coming though. maybe ill just bring some buddies for a good time. i can bring some stuff too. sounds like there will be enough stuff. let me know if i can bring anything.

take it easy, mark

this time i wanna see lots of this!!! anyone think we could get scott to come out from cali to run for the weekend? :-laf how about daryl poole (i probably spelled it wrong) that would be a good truck to see Oo. i can get my parents big grill if needed, its about 7' long and has its own trailer! i bet that mr, and mrs dyno would be excited about doing this, there great people to deal with. ian, shell out the coon s**t for that dtt so we can see a 5x5 and maybe we could get some mach 4's too :D man, im more excited about this than my diesel weekend :)

matt

Steve i really hope you can make it. Digger take some time off work (you work to hard anyhow LOL) and drag that damn ol' smokey Silver03 along with ya!!!!

Matt i did not want to take any publicity away from your gather that you have going on!!!!! Hopefully we can make both of these, 2 great events that followed one hell of a dyno day that was a blast!!

As far as ideas about how this event should be held, i want to hear all of them!! I do not decide on my own what goes and what stay's. All of us decide what's good and what's bad!!! Lets here the idea's roll louder than ian's tail pipe on 5X5 with a DTT slammin on the rollers!!

John if Mr. and Mrs. Dyno won't allow us at their place, we would be more than thankful to stay at your place! I'm about 30 mins. away, and if needed could stay here.

Matt's work truck is AWESOME. All them thar spare parts he has he could have had his big rig up and running!!!!!!

I think i need to get off of some "coon I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER" also!!! DTT in my truck with edm 12's = most smoke you'll ever see comin from an un-tuned cummins in your life!!! LOL

Thanks Guys

Curtis

Will call Mr. & Mrs. Dyno mon AM

I will be there with one of my trucks? What time will the dyno start? Digger I am pretty sure you will be able to take some time out of that busy work schedule :) :-laf :-laf

curtis, the only thing this will do is provide advertisement. the ol work truck might make it down but it will be a little better runner this time. anytime will work. i love it when someone steps up and plans sompthing like this. theres more that will come, i bet after we get done working on chris poling's truck he will be right down there. if you need any help on this dont hesitate to ask, i will help any i can.

thanks a bunch curtis
