Here I am

S. MI Dyno day

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

What happened to the GLTDR ?

Mopar Nats

Dont quote me on this

They're registered with the State of MI, every facility registered with the state has to keep detailed records. It is for their benefit, and your own benefit. If you dyno at this event, and want to dyno again later on they'll have all the info and will be able to look it up easier.

Why does it matter why they want your vin # ?? It's not like it's your SS # or anything.

Weight doesn't matter a whole hell-of-a-lot, other than it tells the dyno how hard to load your truck to best simulate street driving.

DynoServe please feel free to chime in here.

Thanks

Curtis

UPDATE!!!

So far only 11 have signed up.

Matt i haven't seen hide nor hair from the "high horse power no-smoke-jokes" Let them guys know they need to pre-register, please.

PRE-REGISTER @ www.DYNOSERVE.COM

EVERYONE START VOLUNTEERING WHAT YOU'RE BRINGING. I have 2 grills that will come with me! I will bring some refreshments.

everyone also needs to understand that i have quite a few people all set up to bring food. The folks that are bringing food are going to bring enough for the people that have pre-registered. This only 1 of a few reasons why we need you guys to register with dynoserve. We do not want alot of waste afterwards as that only costs everyone more money!!!!

Thanks

Curtis

Ian is in charge of the picnic tables, right ?

John is bringing enough hamburger to feed a small army, and the porta jon (much thanks)

Kwheaton (correct me if i'm wrong) is bringing some more food.

whoelse will be added to the list ?

There's also 3 main prizes to be handed out per my discretion. Also trying to get some fuel cards around for the 3 with the farthest drive. And some other misc things. Soot will be plentiful for all of you soot sniffers. B. S. Will also be in attendance.

Curtis,

If John is bringing a lot of hamburger, should I bring

something else? I could grab a large cooler and stock

it with pop/etc... ??? OR - I can bring fixings for burgers...

OR ??? Suggestions?

(PS - do you know if barley pops are welcome for later

in the night when we are done running?)

Let me know... I can also be reached via the email on

my profile...

You bet barley pop is more than welcome!!! We'll need 1 cooler for just that i'm sure.

Fixin's and toppins and chips, and if someone could bring some salads and stuff.

Anything you guys want, feel free to bring.

Just as long as the party afterhours doesn't get too out of hand, we'll be alright.

Curtis

K - Got it!

Maybe I can convice the wife to make some Pasta Salad

or something like that! :) Always goes good with some

grilled cow!

We need more people!!

C'mon guys let's show that Diesel Pride!!

And - yes - we will behave after hours,

but still have fun! :-laf

Hopefully it warms up a little before then -

otherwise those of us that might be in tents

may need heaters!!

Can i put you on the list for Pasta Salad ? Sounds good.

I think i'll have the wifey make some Taco Salad.

Anybody else with anything to bring? Bring it!

Curtis

Pasta Salad it is!!

I will advise the wife that she is officially

on the hook now! :-laf

I guess I could make it, but I'd like to put it

off on her if I can... I will be busy getting

the truck/tent/camping gear/etc ready...

BTW - Any chance that someone may want to help

me tap my exhaust manifold and transmission line when we

are out there so I can get the X-monitor hooked up?

I am worried about drilling a hole on the exhaust

manifold myself (location and debris).

I'll help ya, no prob

I'll make sure i bring my magnet

Thanks for the volunteer also.

Tell the wifey we'll really appreciate it!!!

dogs sound great with the beef. Whatever anyone wants, just bring it, or mention it. Maybe someone is stocked up with hotdogs, who know's.

Family event, hell yes. My GF and my daughter are coming.

FAMILIES ARE MORE THAN WELCOME... ..... if they can stand the soot, and loud exhaust.

Curtis

DynoServe Posting as I-6DZL

Good Morning to All,

We noticed there are some questions regarding the VIN and weight questions. I-6DZL was correct in the State of Michigan requirements. If we perform service to a vehicle (in this case a Dyno Session) then we are required to report what vehicle we did this to (so they can get our taxes right, keep track of fraud on vehicles, etc. ). Reporting is done through the VIN. As for the weight of the vehicle, again the stated reason was correct. The dyno uses this information to determine the loading that should be placed on the vehicle for road simulations. For proper dyno figures we add additional weight via our PAU's to add weight to our rollers to match that of the weight of your vehicle. Otherwise it would be like doing a dyno pull while rolling down hill. Nice numbers, but not really valid ;)

If you have any other questions feel free to contact us directly at staff@dynoserve.com or via our website at www.dynoserve.com . Remember that Pre-Registering saves us time doing paperwork so we can spend more time dyno'ing Oo. Oo.

Regards,

Jeff @ Dynoserve.com

so if i say my truck weighs 500# will i make the most hp??? :-laf

Yes, as the system will not add any weight to our roller, which weighs in at 2974. 44 lbs (off the top of my head). So I would be 2,400 lbs over weight for your your "go kart" sized truck. But for "real" trucks it doesn't affect your HP so much as your time. Don't forget the co-efficient of drag. We use the HP required to maintain 50 mph for your type vehicle, as published by the fed's to compute this. Does it affect your HP curve? No. Does it affect your quarter mile time? You Bet!

2 TWO WEEEKS LEFT Oo. Oo. and it will be here and gone just a memory hopfully good ones for all yeh you fffff and chchchc people to :p.

lets get those trucks signed up :D so we can tell a few lies (blow smoke) and through a few back :-laf :-laf ;)

Jeff the porta-can will be there sometime that friday if nobody is there you my want to put a sign where you want it.
