Alrighty... 1 day to go!!

I probably will not drive up until Sat morning...

I have the X-monitor in box sitting next to me...

If I cannot finish the install out there, at least maybe we can

drill the holes and plug - 'em... ? :) I am hoping to take out

the silencer ring also while the intake is off... TAG-III is already in...

Anyone have a 3rd Gen intake they want to make a deal on?

Greg... . I think this pyro probe is way big for pre-turbo...

I may need to pick up another somewhere that would give

accurate readings to the X-Monitor... We can discuss when I get

there... Thanks for the feedback before!

I will be happy to assist with others' with their mechanicals too...

I used to tech for a living... I just was not sure about the positioning

of where to put the pyro probe (and drilling an intake for first time

is a little iffy too!)...

Pasta salad to pass around is made! (By me NOT wife!)...

Someone bringing plates/forks? Please post if you are or I

will get some and bring them...

Most likely I will need to head home late on Sat, but we will see...

final plans will be set tomorrow...

Looking forward to a GREAT time...

I am also going to try to bring basic tools, plus maybe cordless

kit and an inverter (so we can charge tools/cell phones/etc... )...

Anything else we will want/need???

It looks like I will not be able to dyno as my transmission still needs some tweaking. I will try and stop by in the afternoon on Sat. or Sun. and BS with everbody.

Paul

I am bringing 130 plates and 60 set of eating sticks not sure how many we will need.

I will be down there sat morning.

I will try to remember to throw a cordless set in as well.

Anything else needed not mentioned above?

Joe

The CaTCHer, frame pump, and Drag Comp are in, and the truck still runs! I should be there around 5:30 Sat. It looks like it is going to be a blast!

8hrs till dyno

Forcast 70* overcast with smoke from the Ackerson Lk area haha its supposed to be a nice weekend!!!!

I talked to the fine people at dynoserve tonight and they are excited as well for the weekend!!!! trucks are to park out front and the campers are out back (level ground) fire ring is ready along with the tables.

there will be "TDR DYNO" signs on M-50 & Ackerson Lk Rd, 127 & Hart Rd, and Hart & Ackerson Lk Rd

Big success

Thanks Curtis, Ian, Jon et. al for a great get-together. Myself and my fellow TDR'rs had a great time.

About 30 different trucks throughout the day, possibly more, it was hard to keep up. I think over 15 dyno'd, unfortunately a ford on drugs had the highest hp the last time I looked at the board.

Dave T with a fresh o'ringed head with twins wisely decided to not tempt the headgasket gods and will wait till the next event to dyno. He hasn't had the required re-torque of the head yet. Should be able to run stronger than the Ford did on #2 only. or at least close.

I know my Hp/Tq from my dyno run at Fall Brawl October '04, and have not changed anything since then so elected to not run.

The BBQ was great, thanks everyone!!

I'm sure Ian and Curtis will post an official dyno results sheet soon. Curtis's truck had some seriously high HP/TQ numbers on the board, [for awhile] but the 'handwritting' looked suspiciously like Curtis' own!! LOL

Thanks again Greg L

Thanks alot for having that dyno day, it was great. I was hoping for bigger #'s but oh well. It was a good time meeting all those people I read here on TDR. Hopefully we can get another one of these together soon. Oh yeah by the way Curtis my name is spelled Erik Hautamaki so get it right. Just kidding thanks alot guys.

Sunday's Weather?

Wow, total of 20 dyno runs, did anyone get a total count of trucks that showed??

I was watching the weather radar pretty close on Sunday, and it looked like the soot should have been washed off the roof of DynoServ's shop.

I'm not sure how you guys got traction with wet tires. Did you towel off the tires as the trucks pulled into the shop?? On Saturday night Ian's dad's truck was spinning dry tires, so I bet Sunday was a challenge to keep traction on the rollers

I was glad to see Trevor Badgley show up, his converted crew-cab is very nice, and a super tow rig. Did he bring photos of the huge trailer he tows with the truck??

Anyway, the rain let up here in Holly in the early afternoon, and I got a few chores done around the place. I would have liked to be there on Sunday as well, but I have to keep up with the maintenance of the MoneyPit.

Had a great time, thanks again everyone

Greg L

I Can Think Of 6-8 Trucks That Did Not Pull, Sunday He Put A Trailer On Us At About 60mph To Get Warmed Up Didn't Notice Slipping But Tc Wasnt Staying Locked

Greg It Is Still Locking And Unlocking At 72 I'll Unplug And Try But Whats Next?

The folks at Dynoserver were spectacular hosts, both on and off the rollers! Seeing TDR friends and meeting new people was really cool as well. Unfortunately I was not able to bring anything, other than my sparkling personality of course  , but I was sure glad to be a part of this event! Unfortunately I believe that my highest numbers were skewed by the optical sensor slipping out of place. But I will take the 343. 8/762. 7 run with confidence. Thanks again to everybody that organized and contributed to this event.

Very good turnout!

If i'm not mistaken there was at least 30 trucks in attendance between the 2 days.

Not sure if the soot washed off the roof or not, kinda hope not ;) LOL

My actual numbers were 266/741. I don't think too bad for what i don't have.

John them stacks sounded wicked hauling your house on wheels. Oo.

Glad everyone had a great time. We'll have to do something similar pretty soon.

Curtis

Hey just wanted to say THANKS for the good time. It was nice to meet everybody, as this was the first event i have had a chance to get to. The weather was Great and You couldnt ask for a better host. Thanks again Ian and Curtis you did a great job.

Thanks again Dirk

Dirk glad you could make it!

Very glad indeed.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot was there, took some pics, wrote a small story. Nice but kinda small, no biggie.

LOL!! Greg!! :-laf :-laf :D

You didn't happen to see the results from our last little event on 4/30 at Kauffmans did you? ;) :--) :-laf :D

By the way, I need to give you a yell to chat about some things. I'll try you later this week :)

Hope you guy's can make it back to Kauffmans this Fall :D

THANKS to everyone again!!!

Correction: the High HP trucks were GM ON DRUGS(propane) then CHEVY and dodge... Ford was in the middle of the pack. Just to clear things up.

The article was nice but it could have been a little more indepth with diesels and TDR but thats ok. My tailgate as well as Bill's (R-n-R) tailgate HEAVY smoke shot got into the paper.
