S68 Alt recall

Ok, It's been almost two months since I got the notice of the recall anyone have a clue when the Good parts will be available?????

Nope. Not in Florida. I was at the dealership service dept on Friday. And callled them again today.

I think the new alternators are starting to come available

I just called the selling Dealership of my 2007 C&C and was told the parts are not available at this time. They said I would receive a follow up post card, when the parts were in stock.

316 in the depot system, 262 in dealer inventory as of tonight.

I had to wait 2 days for them to get one.

But i hadn't asked for them to do the alternator recall because at first, they said they did think the part was available. I originally just told them to do the SCR cat. But when i picked up the truck, the psperwork showed both done.

Called Chrysler Customer Service they say parts are available now you have to set up an appointment to have your truck inspected, If the inspection shows you have a bad batch unit then they will order you the new good alt.....

Parts coming available. Good news! I was worried they put another bad one in.

Just to follow up on this Thread, my alternator and drivers side Airbag was replaced on Saturday (2/25/17) under recalls.*
