It was the driveline both times. The compound joint on the transfer case side. The one with the super small grease fitting. Both times the truck was in 4 hi. Both times there was a some snow on the ground...maybe 6-8" the first failure and no more than 4" the second time. Both times were at very low speeds/ throttle. Maybe 5 MPH. The first time I was rounding a corner and the driveline gave up with a loud bang. I believe this to be related to a defective/low quality component. The second time I was simply pulling out of my driveway. I believe this to be improper installation of the first driveline by the dealer. It could have also been a defective part again, as it ~6 weeks until they could get a replacement. So there could have been a whole batch of junk parts.Can I ask what was the cause of your repeated front driveline failures? Drive shaft or axle?
