2014 Ram DEF injector Question

@Corbet, Have you contacted Ram Cares about this? Might be worth it since the tech's wording seems to nail down the issue! You can contact them through the Ramforum.com. Start a conversation with RamCares. Glad the issue got taken care of, sorry to hear that Ram didn't step up to the plate!

There are lawyers who specialize in representing people who are getting screwed over on warranty stuff. I never sued anyone in my life, but I would over a warranty denial that should obviously be covered.

There are. I've used counsel before to compel the makers of a certain upscale European SUV to buy back their product (3 transmissions in 17k miles). It took years and cost about what the car was worth. In the end I was fully reimbursed. I wouldn't go that route again. It's easier to just avoid problem cars. And the women that want them. But that's topic for a different place.

Can I ask what was the cause of your repeated front driveline failures? Drive shaft or axle?
It was the driveline both times. The compound joint on the transfer case side. The one with the super small grease fitting. Both times the truck was in 4 hi. Both times there was a some snow on the ground...maybe 6-8" the first failure and no more than 4" the second time. Both times were at very low speeds/ throttle. Maybe 5 MPH. The first time I was rounding a corner and the driveline gave up with a loud bang. I believe this to be related to a defective/low quality component. The second time I was simply pulling out of my driveway. I believe this to be improper installation of the first driveline by the dealer. It could have also been a defective part again, as it ~6 weeks until they could get a replacement. So there could have been a whole batch of junk parts.

Glad to hear you got it fixed... I was dealing with intermittent loss of all ABS,CC,etc... I was surprised how a chaffed wire due to interference with a metallic part could cause soo many issues... Best of luck with RAM,.. I have heard stories of them taking care of things after the dealer does not.
