I haven't been active here lately a good friend of mine lost his brief battle with cancer last week so my mind has been elsewhere. The good news though is I found a place that I believe will better suit our needs. I actually feel stupid because it's no more then 3 miles from where we met in Feb. It is Bakers Square and it is located 1235 harbor Blvd. in W. Sacramento their phone number is 916-371-8201 it's just East of where we met before. The big question is when? Sat. March 15th is the pulls down in Ripon so I was thinking the following Sunday the 23rd, thats a month out so it would give plenty of notice, WHATCHA ALL THINK? Jeff

I noticed that you checked trucks for lift pump pressure at the Sac meeting. I would have liked to have had mine checked as well but was unable to make the meeting. What is the minimum psi number (at the Schraeder valve) at idle for a good lift pump on an 01? Thanks.

Minimum lift pump pressure at idle is 10 psi according to the dealer that I took my truck to. I originally took it in when my Westach gauge indicated 10 psi at idle and they told me that my gauge was slightly off and that their gauge measured 10. 5 psi. I told them that I would see them in a few more miles as it had been steadily dropping over the ;last few weeks.



A few weeks latter I took it back and they replaced the pump. Now I have 15 psi at idle and am satisfied. I was not really all that impressed with them balking at . 5 psi, because I felt that their gauge could have been off also, but parameters are what they are and no harm no foul.

Thanks. Are the numbers you are referring to taken from the injection pump schreader valve test port (where my gauge is attached) or from the schreader test port between the lift pump and the fuel filter? There probably are some losses across the filter.
