Has anyone ever used this clutch? Impressions on feel? On installation? Build quality? etc. Is this the same as Joe D. 's modified or is it just a factory Sach's clutch from a first gen. ?

No offense but please do not tell me about South Bend's clutch. I know a lot of you like it and that's great. I'm just trying to get some info for my friend that has a 96 5-speed 2500.

Thanks,

Scott

TST Clutch

:D I have a 95 when 430HP with one of the TST clutches. The same one the Joe Donnelly has in his truck. I have 8000 miles on so far and towed 9000 pounds behind the truck and so far it works great. I think he does have some clutches on hand. The pedal is stiffer and the spring is different. I hope this helps. Steve Fyfe Las Vegas

the Sachs clutch is a good clutch, for street and towing it has good pedal feel and does not chatter much at all.

but dont try to pull a sled with one. :D

I have been running the Sachs (from Joe Donnelly) for 6 months and love it. It seems like the more power I throw at this clutch the better it holds. It has very little chatter and has definately lived up to my expectations.

I can tell ya the Donnelly Sachs clutch will hold up to Cords truck. We ragged on it a bit this week and the clutch holds the power. Cord just dynoed at 476 HP so... the Sachs is holding alot and Sickly has the same clutch at 600.

Correction, Cord dynoed at 523 HP yesterday. He is using the Donnelly clutch and it aint slipping!!

S lang

I rode in cumminsgetme's truck yesterday and it has major a$$ as you see from the numbers and it felt really on power and during gear changes, sounds like a good choice to me! P. M. Joe D I bet he can hook you up with one.
