Anyone know of a good RV park to stay at in the Sacramento area. We are going down the first part of next month and I'd like to find a place that will be conducive to my family for 4 days, wife and 6 yoa and 3 yoa children. Any help is appreciated.
We stayed about 40 minutes outside of Sacramento in the town of Plymouth at49er Village and had a great time. The park was very clean and rates very reasonable, we were able to get in to Sacramento in about 35 - 40 minutes. We like being out in the country a bit anyway and there are alot of very nice towns and areas around there to explore.
I agree, out of town would be much better. Almost all of the Sacramento RV parks are full of year round residents and while not really dirty, they look clutered. I would check a directory and pick one in El Darodo, Amador, or Placer county. Going into sacramento would only be a 30 to 45 minute trip if done out of commute times.
