Since the big tractor pulls are gonna be the next day and there is a camping event planned near Nowel's house in Half Moon Bay,Who wants to caravan down there after the sacramento meeting?anybody game?
Due to something else that I can't miss that day, I won't bet at this event, but should be back in the Sacto area by 3:30 PM or thereabouts. I'd like to go to the campout with all of you, so maybe I will be able to join in a carpool.
Who do I need to talk to about getting a reservation or permission to go to the campout? Wouldn't want to just show up uninvited or unexpected.
Tom,
don't worry about showing up un-expected, they're expecting us no doubt. Heck i show up whenever wherever at any TDR sponsored event and am always greeted kindly, special when you have a LOUD exhaust,i guess it wouldn't be too un-expected since they can hear me coming 2 states away!. . lol
Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie (new to diesel!), waiting for delivery of my new truck and hoping to learn a lot of things from you, among them being how and what good things to do with the Cummins after it arrives.
I am thinking of taking a ride on Sat. and come over the hill (Reno to Sacto) to see some trucks and get myself educated. How late will your gathering last... . if the weather is good, and it should be, I will be on my bike and don't much care for night time riding, so would head back "east" around 5PM.
Any thoughts?
Well Jim I would say beings we are not meeting until noon give or take that we should be there for a little while anyway. I think some of the guys are heading for Half Moon Bay after the feed bag so we shouldn't keep you too late. #ad

Coming down #80 West, look for Sierra College Blvd. Hazel Ave. changes names into Sierra College Blvd. up north before it crosses #80. Get off #80 going South on Sierra College Blvd. About 13 - 15 miles later you will come to #50, and the end of Hazel Ave/Sierra College Blvd. Turn left onto Folsom Blvd. , immediately turn left again into parking lot for Old Spaghetti Factory. Can't miss it #ad
[Edit] Should have mentioned that Sierra College Blvd. is in the Roseville area, maybe 10 - 15 miles West of Auburn?? Just so you have a rough idea of where to start looking. If you miss Sierra College, just keep going to Business 80 (now called Capital City Freeway), go South and it will take you to #50, then go East. Then get off at Hazel Ave. [/edit]

Hey all you guys that are going to head for Nowel's place tomorrow after this get together, I just spoke with Niwel, and he invited me to come on down for the great campout, so I will hopefully be joining those of you carpooling down tomorrow afternoon. I will actually be down in Vacaville most of the morning, so I don't know for sure when I'll be back to Sacto, but I will be going by the Spaghetti Factory in the hopes that you'll still be there so I can join you. I'm hoping to be back in Sacto by 3:30 to 4:00 PM.
[Edit]: I should have mentioned that my cell phone number is 530-305-5279 if anyone may want to call me.
