I was thinking the same. If so, then they are together again. LJ, my wife and I will say a prayer for you and yours.

My grandmother, who was like a mother to me and my sister, is in her final stages of Alzheimers Disease. She is now unable to speak or respond in anyway. I live close to her and my grandfather, who was diagnosed with cancer last week. Needless to say I've been spending alot of time helping them out.

It is such a devastating disease. Sad thing is I believe she knows what is going on around her but simply cant do anything about it. I can tell she is scared. Its truely saddening to watch this happen. I almost can't sit here and write about it... thats how much it hurts me.

I know what its like and I am sorry for your loss.

Jean. .

Sorry for the loss. I know it is tough but there are alot of shoulders here you can lean on. If there is anything we can do just let us know... ... ... . Andy

Sorry to hear about your loss. My grandmother has Alzheimer's, and it is sad to watch them fade away. One consolation you can take is that both your parents are together, and hopefully in a better place, where they are no longer suffering. If there is anything any of us can do to help, holler and we'll do what we can. THis is a great group.
