A Lawnmower Question

Just read on another site that Herb ( redneckdr ) was killed in an accident a couple days ago. I will miss his posts.

May he rest in peace. God bless you Herb.

That's sad to hear. I really enjoyed Herb's posts as well. Although I never met him, he seemed like one of those individuals you would like to get to know. Godspeed, Herb. You'll be missed.

That is sad news. Spent time with Herb at a number of events and he was always a great guy to hang out and talk with. He even gave me medical advice on my shoulder a few times. His truck was the featured rig on the front page some time last week and I emailed him about it - never got a response and now I know why. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Sad news indeed!

I feel as if the TDR crowd is family. After reading this, it just confirms my feelings even more. :(

RankRam, the TDR gang is a family like no other.

Whenever someone passes on, for whatever reason, we all notice and feel the loss.

redneckdr will be missed. His sense of humor was what I noticed most about him. And will be the thing that will be missed.

He had recently told me that he wasn't coming to Muncie this year until he saw the memories thread. He was excited to come back up here and see you guys and gals.

The lack of his presence this year will be felt by me. I dedicate this year's Thunder in Muncie to Herb, rest in peace my friend.

He was one of the "nice guys" here that never tolled, and I always respected him. I got the chance to met him at Muncie last year, and even my grilfriend remembers him, even though she only met him there. Funny how good people will leave such a mark on people they never really know, and only met a once.

Maybe there could be an award given in his name at Muncie, as like a "outstanding member" or something. He made it a point to be everyone's friend, isn't that what the TDR is all about?

Yeah, old Herb was a hell of a guy.

At Muncie last year, we spent quite a bit of time just sitting and talking in shade. If we were at the fairgrounds, we were sitting in chairs and watching the dyno runs. Back at the campground, we were sitting behind his harley hauler and telling good stories. I know for a fact that I'll miss him and I'm sure all that have met him at Muncie or at one of our SETDR events will definatly miss him. He was a fun guy to be around with his jokes and his Laugh.

Bye Buddy, it was good to know you.

Herb and I BS'd for about 1/2 an hour or so at Muncie last year... . along with Drew, his better 1/2 and Merrick. It didn't take me long to figure out he was one heck of a guy.

My most sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

I've had the pleasure to meet and talk with Herb at several events, and will miss him at future ones, God speed Herb to the Great Smokeout.

Morph.

I only knew Herb through the net. We PMed several times and I second the Great Guy comments. I enjoyed visiting with him over the keyboard.

May God Bless his family.

Gonna miss him......

Dr. Craig was a dear customer of ours.....

He was a huge supporter of ADT, and one of our early customers. Unfortunately, I missed him at Muncie last year, so I never got to see the face of the man who I talked to many times on the phone with. He was as genuine as they come, and will be greatly missed by everyone here at ADT.

If anyone has information on where to send donations, please let us know... .

God Bless Dr. Herbert Craig, and his family.

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to Herb's family. There are a few MDs hanging out on this board, and Herb was a nice, friendly guy to boot. He used to say he was 'just an old orthopedic surgeon,' but doctors know you have to be a special type to do ortho, being both very smart and have the endurance of and ox. I will miss him, and I am sorry I never met him in person.

Will and I extend our condolences to Herb's family, he was one of our favorite friends in the TDR, and a good customer. We are heartbroken at the loss of our friend, and will miss him at the events this year.

I never met Herb either but he sure was more than willing to help with any question I ever asked him. He sent me really good info on the sport headlight conversion and told me if I ever had another question about elect. stuff to write him. I just communicated with him a month ago. This is a shock. My condolences to his family. He was a great guy!
