Indeed great news ... especially for all those Iraqis that have had to suffer under his rule.



But as predictable as the sun rising in the morning ... CNN and CNN International are only focusing on two things this morning ...

(1) The lack of celebrations in the Tikrit area and (2) the repeal of the death sentence in Iraq by the coalition forces ... so Sadam their hero can't be executed.



I guess CNN is trying to down play this thing in hopes of supporting the liberals in this country in their time of need since their hero has been captured. (I can just here the teeth gritting and the anger welling up inside of the likes of Tom Dashole, Hiterlry Clinton, Fatboy Ted, and the Dem Prez candidates).



Anyway ... GREAT JOB US ARMED FORCES ... (especially Task Group 21).

At 10:41 a. m. I'm watching a pretty rowdy celebration in Bagdad. CNN simply said celebration in Tikrit is subdued. The residents are probably still afraid to show their elation. It is not a negative event as you've made it and Saddam is no-one's hero as you would imply. Not even his followers who are afraid to rebel.

God Bless Our Troops, and they did a wonderful job in such adverse conditions. Saddam was hiding like a freakin rat, and I am sure the US will give him what he has coming after we get all the info we can from him. Time to pay the piper, Saddam!
