SAE VE pump manual?

I believe it's my (John Deere) diesel tractor that uses the PF single plunger injector pump (two) Them things are big. Heck, you otta see the nozzels! The two pumps have a rack between the two linked to the governor.



Why do they refer to the VP-44 as the VR pump?? Bla Bla Bla

The "R" is the designation for "radial" piston distributor pump.



And I believe that the "V" is the designation for the German word meaning "distributor" or "displacement" not sure... pretty sure it's "distributor" after further thought. :-laf

And as neer as I can tell "VE" is for "Verteilereinspritzung" or "distributor injection".
