Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) safe boost presure?

like most of us i am always looking for ways to get more h. p. and smoke the powerjokes by that much more. after about 3 month of having the boost elbo and watching my boost top out at about 38psi i decided to cap off the waste gate and see what happened to my joy i saw the boost hit presures of 45-50psi not much, if any by the seat of my pants but i love the look on my buddys faces (all ford guys) when she hits 50psi and they are struggling for 25psi i'm wondering if this will damage my turbo, i. ve heard a saying that troubles me "spooling up into orbit" please let me know of any experiances, its the stock hx35. i'm a little confused i've heard to much is bad and on the other hand i've heard storys of blowing the hose's off the intercooler and even a banks kit to fix this problem. all info welcome

Simply adding boost does not add power. 50 PSI might be too much. Do a search about blown head gaskets and o ringing the heads. I think you are getting into that territory.

I've always heard 35psi is all you want to run a HX35. Beyond that it is out of it's efficiency range, heats the air, and can grenade.

Like the others said, anything over 35 psi is worthless, all you get is higher egts.
