I just installed a Kore leveling kit on my 2007. 5 3500 4x4 SRW ... i gained about 2-2. 25 inches but my intentions were to gain enough lift to clear 35x12. 50R17 on Mickey Tompson Classic wheels(17x9) with a ranch hand replacement front bumper ... but i dont believe it will work after seeing the results:( ... so i was wondering if i can install a coil spacer without replacing the factory control arms, track bar, and pitman arm ... the largest spacer i would probably install would be 1. 5 inch, but put together with the Kore springs i am worried that it will be too much for the control arms factory length:confused:

Hate to say it but your MAX"ED out on your lift. Any more then 2 inches and you SHOULD put longer trailing arms on. The tires will sit to far back in the wheel wells and your alignment will be off.

You are about max'ed out. KORE, Carli, Lorenz springs give you about 3" which is all you want. More requires more mods. You really can't get any more usable lift. Longer control arms will push the axle too far forward at full collapse (to bump stops) so you'll have to extend the bump stops, which provides no improvement in suspension function (it just looks higher - mall terrain) and increases center of gravity. You could use a spacer with your coils as the higher rate of the springs would probably not coil bind. But I not sure. The extra weight of your bumper is probably sagging the softer spring rate (tighter coils) more that usual and your losing some height and ride characteristics. What you could try is a set of Lorenz's 23% rate springs which are for plows and heavy bumpers. You'd probably sag less and have another inch or so of ride height.

Sad thing Tinman is that i dont have a replacement bumper yet i was just planning to get the truck ready for one... . and i would love to buy a new set of control arms and install a 1-2 inch coil spacer to get the height i desire but every one including Kore, Lorenz, Pure Performance, and Carli require you to sell your soul to be able to afford their products, i understand they are top of the line products but its crazy what they are going for ..... I could go with control arms from others such as Skyjacker, Pro Comp, Fabtech etc. . but i dont see those as an upgrade they are just longer than factory..... as much as i dont want to maybe ill have to go back to 33x12. 50R17 next go round
