The product literature from www.safe-t-plus.com is intriguing. The unit mounts like a regular steering stabilizer, but has a spring to return the tie rod to the center position (Ram's model has a force of 120 lbs). The unit also contains a hydraulic damper as well. The unit is supposed to prevent loss of control during a blow out, wind gusts from large trucks or natural winds, uneven surfaces, etc. Should reduce driver's fatigue. It is an expensive unit that usual comes standard on large motorhomes. The cost for the Dodge application is around $400. Wow! That's expensive, but may be worth it if you don't have to constantly adjust to keep in the center of the road. What are your thoughts or experiences? BTW, it's not just a horizontal stabilizer because it is spring-loaded.
