you can see my mods in my sig at the bottom. Is it safe to slide it all the way forward? will i pick any power up? i just got a con 13inch OFE installed and am looking for a little more go.

Thanks

you can, but keep a CLOSE eye on your EGT's!! Mine are outrageous when I punch mine (See sig) empty, and towing. . I tow frequently, and have to constantly keep an eye on my gauges. Do it, but at your own risk. . Just my $. 02 worth. .

Chris take another close look at his sig.

*16cm housing

*3K GSK

*Banks Exhaust (guessing 4")

*Mega Cannon

don't see any injectors so I'm guessing originals..... I think that he will see slightly higher EGT's... ... . they will climb quicker... ... but it won't be that bad..... try it and see Clayton!Oo.

Still have to watch EGTS...

I am running with the plate 3/4's forward. While doing some recent towing (pulling double stock trailers) I found EGTs to be aceptable when towing 70 mph with the tiny hills we have in ND. Never used more then 2/3s throttle, 28 llbs boost and 1200 EGTs max. I did WOT on a couple of hills and yes EGTS when right past 1300.

A #10 in a 215hp pump takes the stock turbo to the limit. Even with a 16cm housing.

But then I am only 2/3s foward!

JJW I did neglect to look at it from a towing perspective.

But I know I ran with mine full forward for about 2 weeks, and I have marine 300's as well. My EGT's did climb A LOT quicker, and I could be @ 1300* or PAST before I knew it..... but only have a straightpipe and Scotty II to his 4" exhaust and 16cm housing.

Towing YES he woud definately have to watch it as the EGT's would climb quicker and stay there... . he is better suited to EGT's than most people would be though.
