Gentlemen, has anyone fueled up at a Safeway store lately? The one I went to last night has a new sticker on the pump I haven't seen before, it says, "B5 Soy Bio Diesel". I turned around and came home not being sure if I should trust it or go to another station. The only reason I want to fill up there is I currently have enough points to get $0. 80 off per gallon, that would be $1. 79 a gallon if I fill up there.

Ive seen the B5 stickers on the Shell stations here in Bothell. I think I remember hearing that all diesel sold in Washington has to be B5 by a certain date. Maybe Jan 1 09 ? Is that true for Oregon ?

I've been using the local Safeway B5 Biodiesel for over a year now... never had a problem with it. I've run biodiesel blends ranging from 5% to 40%.

Fill 'er up!

I think you are going to find that Biosurprise has been mandated for the Portland area, I'm not sure of the implementation date. :-laf

So sorry, the rest of the state has to go along to get along. We will all be there soon. #@$%! Hippies!

I myself like BioD but think it ought to be a choice not mandated by some bunch of yahoos in Salem, Portland, Medford or Eugene.
