Stay Away form Here, Its extremely Bias and liberal , the Mods get involved in just about every thread. I am proud to be banned form 1500diesel.com. I should have NEVER Joined and Will NEVER comment their again.

Go Here Ecodieselram.com it does NOT have the traffic that the 1500diesel.com has but the its more users friendly without **TOP.

I visit that other forum and they are a great group to say the least. Members and mods get tired of troublemakers and that's just the way it is on any forum. I've only seen less than a handful of members who were ever temporarily banned. It seems pretty hard to get banned from that group unless you ask for it over and over again.

Last I checked nearly 10,000 members and only you get ban. Maybe your hate for the ecodiesel & overseas engine causes you to act inappropriately over there?

My salesman kept sticking to "The Aisin is an 8-speed transmission" through the entire process with my truck.

All double clutch per pinion 3 pinion designs are capable of 8 forward speeds and 2 reverse. The Eco Diesels have an advertised 8 speed transmission in them so it is not as wrong as insisting the 48RE is a Allison like they used to. Figure 90% of the people in a dealership could not tell the difference between an AISIN or Torquflte 8 and it makes sense. They get crammed with info on 68RFE, 66RFE, AISIN, and TorqueFlite 8 and most of them can't remember what is what. LOL!

This thread is a couple months old now and more issues arise as time goes by. Not epidemic but if one is looking for even a light tow rig it gives pause. As the mileage climbs on hard used trucks it tends to show in failures. Worst part is the engine failures and availability of replacements. Out of warranty replacements are going to be expensive. Does show any signs of being more than a finite lifetime vehicle that needs traded every 3-5 years or it will cost $$$ to maintain. Depressingly typical at the very least.

11K members out of 120K+ EDs sold... looks like 92%+ never want to be member either.

I know of other member who just left, BC you can't delete your account, So How many of the 11K are active member's ?

The 3.0 VM Motori will cost 2-3 times more in parts and double the labor.

BC YOU JJJ brought up the thought ( act's ) inappropriately , the Mods were supporting members to buy GDE tunes that violate the law, Void your warranty, contaminate your Title, W/O any disclose sure. Just about any forum forbids posting by MODs to promote law breaking. JJJ maybe My moral standards are different then yours, I take law breaking is appropriate with YOU?

Any owner can do as they wish with there property But I feel its required to warn anyone of such actions May/May not be concerning The Law or future warranty repairs.

That website is filled with people who know nothing about diesels but pretend they do clouding every good piece of information those who do know diesels and work on them.

I only posted the site for people to see the problems the ecodiesel is going through. In my opinion engine failures are way out of control.

No one is liked at 1500diesel.com that does NOT post comforting thoughts , in spite of overwhelming evidence of the failures and short comings the ED has in 3 years production.. If you follow the norm at 1500diesel.com you will hate your 3.0 ED in long term ownership.

Friendly and knowledgeable can mean wolves in sheep's clothing.

My beef is with the mods at 1500diesel.com I received 100s of PM / calls form members I hope I gained their trust ,So if problems develop they know were to get the Facts and Fix.

Many good members at that site....For the ones that needed comforting ... Put Me on your Ignore list. (That's All )

No I was NOT banned. Left because of all the know it alls that know very little except how to muddy the waters.*

Apparently *even you could read the displeasure others put upon me. Read my early posts on that site and then now what FCA is recommending. You'll understand why I no longer partisitat, they know it all, eventually they will get the correct information, will take them longer.
