Anyone else place an order for the buy 3 get 1 free Rancho 9000 deal at Sams Offroad and find they never showed? I placed my order on June 6, and was explained that they were on backorder when I called to confirm my order. After calling off and on for the last 2 months I finally got a deffinitive answer... . No... your order was not confirmed and the deal is no longer valid.  Furthermore the RS9000 is no longer being sold.

So... now the deal for buy 3 get 1 free doesn't exist (along with the RS9000. . now the RS9000X is the only option (9 speed adjustable shock) Anyone used these? The price seems good at $70 a pop but im a little unsure  of the new model.

I placed my order at about the same time you did and finally got them at the end of July for the 3-for-1 deal (they billed my credit card immediately in June though). Now I find out that they recommend a different shock for the front (9122 or something instead of 9197) and that the RS9000 is obsolete.

Oh well, guess I'm stuck with them for another 100,000 miles.

If they quit making the RS9000, wonder what they will do with lifetime warranty issues? Can't believe they would replace with the 9 position shock.

When I see my parents neighbor I'll ask him what's the deal with the warranty. I know it took two months for my dad to get his lift kit from him cause they were so behind production. I like the new shocks. When I got my kit from him I got the 9000 series, might have to upgrade to the new version.

I thought that it was pretty sleezy of Sam's to charge my credit over thirty days prior to receiving my shocks, but I got the 3 for 4 deal. Wish I knew that the RS9000X were coming out. How would I ever add a RS9000X with a 5 position in cab controller now?
