Well Duh Look around you and Opec's wallets LOL!

Jeep Liberty Diesel

AM/PM at I-8 at severin was 1. 97 the other day. Then yesterday, it was a 1. 00 per gallon for everything, gas and diesel. They were tryin' to empty the tanks 'cause now they have torn up the cement over the tanks. Now I must go to the RAM 99 in El Cajon on El Cajon Blvd and Johnson. They do a large volume of Diesel and the fuel is always fresh.

Well, of course I filled up at the RAM 99 for 2. 09 but now, the AMPM on Severin at 8 is back up and running with 1. 99. The only downside is that if you use ATM cards, you pay the 35 cent transaction fee. Then on top of it, you are limited to $74. 00 per transaction. Its completely stupid, if you have a 45 gallon tank of diesel (like my suburban) then its around 90 bucks to fill, I either have to bring cash to avoid the limit and Two transaction fees to get the right amount of fuel. Don't have the same issue with the dodge as it usually takes less than $74. 00 to fill up. Man, they really got us by the short and curlies...

AS OF 8-20 Friday in AM

All south of the 8 frwy on my drive home

$1. 95 Am Pm in national city off 5 frwy btwn 8th st and main.

$1. 99 AM Pm off 5 frwy and old town ave. up from $1. 95

$2. 03 Thrifties off 805 frwy and University. up from $1. 99

yeh that ATM service charge at AMPM's sucks. im not shure what im going to do once i get that 5% citibank card in the mail. AMPM's don't take credit either.

Side note: how do i go about getting one of the "commercial" cards that work at the pacific pride fuel docks w/o owning a buisness? they never advertise thier prices.

I have a Pacific Pride fuel card for emergencies. You don't have to have a business. Go to one of your local Pacific Pride fuel stations and get the number of the local business office. Call them, tell them you'd like to get a card, and they'll send you an application; fill it out, send it in and in a week or so they'll send you a card.

You're right: They DON'T either advertize their prices OR post them on the pumps. They are always a few cents more expensive that the regular stations, and you don't find out HOW MUCH more expensive until you get the bill in the mail. At a couple of places to which we travel however, they are WAY more convenient than the ONE other station available.

The business office in Riverside -- Merritt Oil Co. -- gets their bills out pretty quickly, too. If I use the one here, I get a bill in less than two weeks, rather than merely once-a-month. I don't use it very often, but always keep it with me "just in case. "

In El Cajon, the SoCo (same as Pacific Pride) fuel station was 7-10 cents higher when I checked into. The only good thing is that they are always open, you get good fuel because of the high turnover.

I was going to switch from my Chase card to the Citi card until I saw this in the fine print. Is this they way they credit? My rebate for Chase comes off each bill.

"• As soon as you've earned 50 Dividend Dollars or more, call us at 1–866–676–4672 or visit www.citicards.com so that we may send you a check for the total accumulated Dividend Dollar amount shown on your monthly billing statement. We cannot issue you a check unless you contact us. Checks cannot be issued for amounts less than $50 unless you've already received checks totaling more than $250. "

Second that! I just got mine a couple weeks ago. I was using the Chase perfectcard. It gives you 6% back for a while, then drops to 3%. I'm going to throw that one out and use the citi card from now on. I'll take all the free perks I can get!

Thejeepdude. how much is diesel in and around Roseville? Going to be heading up that way in a couple week to visit kids in Newcastle. .

I just got a check from Citi for 137 bucks and I never called anyone to get it. :)

BH, Diesel is 2. 44 at the local safeway, but I paid 2. 17 a week ago down in Stockton @ hwy 12. If you're coming up from that way, that's what I'd suggest. I've seen the occasional station in town down in the 2. 20 range but can't remember where that was. Have a nice trip!

Yes, we had to request that a check be sent. But still a full 5% rebate, contrary to the AAA Mastercard we had, which reduced its rebate from 5% on each bill to 2% and in some cases 3%.
